Zbylitowska Góra
Zbylitowska Góra [zbɨliˈtɔfska ˈɡura] is a village in the administrative district of Gmina Tarnów, within Tarnów County, Lesser Poland Voivodeship, in southern Poland. It lies approximately 9 kilometres (6 mi) south-west of Tarnów and 71 km (44 mi) east of the regional capital Kraków. It is the site of a mass grave from the Holocaust, which is marked by a monument. Approximately 6,000 Jews killed in and around Tarnów in June 1942 were buried in pits in the Buczyna forest near Zbylitowska Góra. [1]
